Ms. Mattison has been active in aviation since 1969, when she earned her pilot's license. Subsequently she became a flight instructor and founded Skyhawk Aviation, Inc. The experience that she gained in civil aviation allowed her to join the Federal Aviation Administration, where she spent seventeen years perfecting her craft. Ms. Mattison has developed safety programs, consulted with other agencies including the Jeppesen Corporation, Alaska Airlines and Transport Canada, and lectured on various aviation safety topics nation wide.

Mr. Gray has been involved in educational video production and instructional multi-media for over 36 years. He has worked in medical, university and FAA video production facilities. He has won several regional and national awards including the American Medical Association's “Freddie” Award for an FAA production on Infectious Diseases. He is currently involved in video production and distance education at the University of Alaska Southeast.
